DOS Health Care, Inc. operates The Manors of Citrus, with two communities in Citrus County, Florida. This policy explains how we handle the information families give us for our text messaging program, The Manors of Citrus Family Updates. You can reach either community directly:

Information we collect

We collect only what you provide on our signed paper consent form when you enroll in the messaging program: your name, your mobile phone number, and your relationship to the resident. We do not collect this information online. Enrollment happens in person at the resident's move in.

How we use your information

We use your name and mobile number solely to operate The Manors of Citrus Family Updates. Through this program we send transactional text messages to family members and designated contacts, including:

  • Visit and appointment confirmations
  • Care plan meeting reminders
  • Community event notices
  • Notifications that a family update has been emailed to you

We do not send marketing or promotional texts through this program.

How we share your information

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

We do not sell your information

We do not sell personal information, and we do not sell or rent your mobile phone number to anyone.

Protected health information

We never send protected health information by text. Messages are limited to the categories listed above and do not include clinical or medical details about a resident.

How to opt out or get help

You can stop messages at any time. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or reply HELP for help. You can also call your community to opt out or ask a question:
